Halkidiki has become a much loved tourist destination. Its unique geographical formation has attracted tourism from all over the world, making it one of the most popular holiday attractions. Made up of three extended peninsulas reaching out from mainland Macedonia, Greece into the Aegean Sea, Halkidiki has possibly the largest stretch of sandy beaches, both populated and isolated within northern Greece.

The deeply indented coastline of 500km shapes four large gulfs and hundreds of smaller sandy alcoves. To the south, the shores of Halkidiki are washed by The Kassandra Gulf and The Mount Athos gulf. As the peninsulas do not exceed 40km in width at any point, Halkidiki is rather like 3 large islands, and therefore a beach is always close by.

The coastline of Halkidiki is of outstanding natural beauty and the combination of green landscapes and pine tree forests reaching down to the water’s edge and reflecting into the calm sea, is truly unique to this area. Halkidiki can be easily accessed by car and is also very close to main city Thessaloniki (60 km) and The International Macedonia Airport of Thessaloniki, interlinked with a road network that is among the best in Northern Greece.

Surrounded by aromatic, evergreen, luscious pine tree forests and colourful blooming flower gardens, The Simantro Beach Hotel enjoys all the privileges of this breath-taking area. Entertainment is non-stop within and around the Hotel and guest will find all the necessary facilities available to make their holiday a memorable one. Take an early morning dip in the crystal clear waters of the sea; discover the area’s significant historical sights and monuments, among them castles, monasteries and churches, testimonies of a great ancient civilisation.

With a unique climate of hot summer days yet mild evenings, Halkidiki can only be described as an excellent choice for a relaxing and fun holiday and The Simantro Beach Hotel waits eagerly to accommodate and fulfil your every need.

Simantro Beach Hotel

The Simantro Beach Hotel is distinguished by its many Byzantine elements. The fact that it was built similar to the famous monasteries of Mount Athos leaves the guest under the impression that itself is a monastery. One can tell by its name, Simantro, which means “bell” in the Greek language and blends perfectly with the environment, architecture and history of the hotel. Wood and stone are also the elements which make a distinction.

The Simantro Beach Hotel is situated in the north-west side of Kassandra peninsula, in the well known Sani area. It is an All Inclusive hotel that functions from April to October and provides high standard services and great facilities. Guests will find available many sports facilities, restaurants and bars, fully equipped beach, 4 swimming pools, animation team, mini market, spa area with gym and many more.
