Shares

See the best of the city on one of our London Theatre Breaks. See the London Eye, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe, the British Museum and lots more.

Based on Khaled Hosseini’s international best-selling novel, the critically acclaimed stage production of The Kite Runner soars again in the West End! A haunting tale of friendship which spans cultures and continents, this powerful story follows one man’s journey to confront his past and find redemption. “There is a way to be good again” Afghanistan is a divided country on the verge of war and two childhood friends are about to be torn apart. It’s a beautiful afternoon in Kabul and the skies are full of the excitement and joy of a kite flying tournament. But neither Hassan or Amir can foresee the terrible incident which will shatter their lives forever. Having captivated over 60,000 people at Wyndham’s Theatre and mesmerized audiences across the country, this unforgettable production will be flying high at the Playhouse Theatre for a strictly limited season. Originally produced by Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company and Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, The Kite Runner is adapted by Matthew Spangler and directed by Giles Croft.
