Itinerary

Day 1

Your tour will start with an early afternoon flight to Prague. Your flight with Aer Lingus departs Dublin at 12:15 and arrives in Prague 15.45 (flight times subject to change). On arrival in Prague, meet your local guide and transfer to the 4* Adria Hotel where you are booked for four-nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Your hotel: The 4* Adria Hotel The 4* Adria Hotel Prague is superbly located right in the heart of Prague on Wenceslas Square. This classic Prague hotel combines the nostalgic charm of Old Prague with the convenience of a modern 4-star hotel and is perfectly situated to explore all that Prague has to offer. It offers fully air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and a minibar. The hotel restaurant, Triton Restaurant, offers an unforgettable dining experience in a unique stalactite-cave dining room. Arrival time at your hotel is approximately 17:00 The remainder of the day and evening is at your leisure.

Day 2

Today, join your local guide for a 3-hour historical walking tour of Prague. Starting at your hotel in Wenceslas Square, this historical walking tour of Prague will show you the wonders of Prague’s Old Town. Gaze at the medieval astronomical clock in Old Town Square and stroll across the Charles Bridge with your informative guide. Lean all about this wonderful and historic city from your knowledgeable guide Afternoon and evening at leisure for independent sightseeing.

Day 3

Morning and afternoon at leisure. This evening, attend the highlight of your stay in Prague – a concert performance by the wonderful André Rieu. Your evening will begin with pre-concert dinner followed by an evening with Andre Rieu in concert. At the end of the evening, private coach transfer back to hotel.

Day 4

Today relax as you depart on a half-day excursion to Kutna Hora, a medieval town located to the east of Prague and now designated a world heritage site, protected by UNESCO. During the Middle Ages the discovery of huge deposits of silver transformed Kutná Hora into the most important city in the Kingdom of Bohemia after Prague. The wealth and prosperity that flowed from the mines led to a rich architectural development of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings. And it is through visiting the most important buildings on the tour that we learn of the history of the town. Beautiful churches such as St. Barbara’s Cathedral and elegant palaces like the Italian Court were constructed, where the Royal Mint was sited and produced coins for the whole kingdom. And to house the newly wealthy citizens, impressive burgher houses were built throughout the 15th century.  Lunch is included in today's tour. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 5

Today, you have the morning free in Prague for independent sightseeing. In the afternoon, meet your local guide for coach transfer to airport for return flight. Flight departs Prague at 15:45 and arrives Dublin 17:20.

Booking Deposit

Booking deposit is €350 pp. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure date. No credit card charge on deposit payments. Balance Payments Due to the fee levied by credit card companies, a 2% charge will be made on balance payments made by credit cards. Receipts for balance payments are sent on request.

Hand Luggage

One standard piece of hand luggage is included in your tour price. (10 kilos). Checked in luggage is available to purchase prior to travel, prices may vary. Please note this must be booked with a minimum of 14 days prior to travel. Bags booked within 14 days prior to travel will incur an administration fee of €25 per piece.

Passport

It is your responsibility to ensure your passport will be valid for your holiday. Please contact IFC should you have any queries regarding your passport. EU passport holders do not require a visa to travel within the EU. As a rule of thumb for European travel your passport should be valid until your intended date of return to Ireland. For travel outside the EU a validity of a minimum of 6 months beyond your return date is required. A visa may be needed for your holiday and information regarding this will be sent closer to travel.
