On arrival in Bordeaux, you will be transferred to the boat where you will be able to leave your luggage and have a few hours in Bordeaux before boarding between 6.00 and 7.00pm. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight we’ll enjoy dinner and an evening of onboard entertainment. We’ll remain in port overnight.
We will cruise towards Pauillac. Join us for the optional excursion proposed:
DISCOVERY: Helicopter ride(3) – fly over the gorgeous Médoc! Experience a bird’s eye view of the numerous châteaux and famous vineyards that give the region its reputation. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!
In the afternoon, join us for the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Following the trail of the Grands Crus wines of Médoc, a renowned region where the most famous of all red wines in the world are cultivated.
DISCOVERY: Visit the Médoc through biking, wine and cheese. Get ready to discover the vineyards and châteaux of the region in this exceptionally beautiful area. You’ll be rewarded for the effort with a lovely glass of grand cru and some regional cheeses.
We’ll return on board for dinner and an evening of entertainment.
We’ll cruise along the Gironde River all the way to the estuary before reaching Blaye. Join us for the optional excursions proposed: CLASSIC: The Route de la Corniche Fleurie and the Blaye Citadel, journey through tradition and authenticity. DISCOVERY: Tour Blaye and its underground monuments on foot. After our tour, we’ll get to taste some regional products with an excellent glass of wine. We’ll return on board for dinner and an evening of dancing.
We’ll begin to cruise early this morning along the Dordogne River towards Libourne. Upon arrival, join us for an optional excursion for both packages: tour of Saint-Emilion. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.
We’ll start cruising towards Cadillac. Join us for the optional excursions proposed: CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Roquetaillade castle where famous movies such as “Brotherhood of the Wolf” and “Fanfan la Tulipe” were filmed, followed by a tour of Cadillac. DISCOVERY: Guided tour on foot of the hillsides in Cadillac. We’ll stroll through the city before hiking up the vineyard trails to some of the most beautiful viewpoints over the river found in the area. We’ll finish up our tour with a tasting of local specialties and wines. Afterwards, we’ll return on board. The evening is free to do as you please.
We’ll cruise back to Bordeaux. Join us for the optional excursions proposed: CLASSIC: Guided tour of Bordeaux, renowned for its exceptional architectural heritage. DISCOVERY: Guided bike tour of Bordeaux that will take you past the main sites and monuments listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Afterwards, we’ll visit Wine Museum. Tonight’s our gala dinner and evening.
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages in the heart of the Arcachon Bay. We’ll return to Bordeaux at the end of the day. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.
After breakfast on board, we disembark for our transfer back to the airport for the return flight to Dublin.
For an optimal organization of the cruise, the organization of excursions can be modified according to the tide.
For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. The cruise schedule may vary according to tides and arrival times at ports of call may be subject to change. (1) Optional excursions. (2) Depending on docking availability, the stopover in Pauillac may be replaced by Cussac-Fort-Médoc and Libourne by Bourg. In this event, the order of excursions could be altered. (3) This excursion must be booked in advance through your travel agency. Subject to availability and favorable weather conditions.
