Day 1-2 Dublin to Bangkok, Thailand

After your overnight flight to Bangkok, you will be transferred to the 5* hotel for your one-night stay before your cruise.

Day 3-4 Bangkok, Thailand

This morning, after breakfast at your hotel, you will be collected and transferred to the dock to board the magnificent Silver Shadow. You will have the day to settle in and have a taste of the facilities on board or further explore Bangkok. The ship stays in port overnight and departs in the evening.

Day 5-6 Kompong Som, Cambodia

Sihanoukville, also known as ‘Kompong Som’, is a coastal city in Cambodia and the capital city of Sihanoukville Province, located at the tip of an elevated peninsula in the country’s south-west at the Gulf of Thailand. The city is flanked by an almost uninterrupted string of beaches along its entire coastline and coastal marshlands bordering the Ream National Park in the East.

Day 7-8 At Sea

Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and catch up with what you’ve been meaning to do. So whether that is whale watching from the Observatory Lounge, writing home to your loved ones or simply topping up your tan by the pool, these blue sea days are the perfect balance to busy days spent exploring shore side.

Day 9-10 Chan May (Hue/Danang), Vietnam

Hue (pronounced hway), bisected by the Perfume River and 13 km (8 mi) inland from the South China Sea, in the foothills of the Annamite Mountains (Truong Son Mountains), stands as a reminder of Vietnam’s imperial past. The seat of 13 Nguyen-dynasty emperors between 1802 and 1945, Hue was once Vietnam’s splendid Imperial City. Although it was devastated by the French in the 19th century and again by fighting between the Vietnamese Communists and the Americans in the 20th, the monument-speckled former capital has a war-ravaged beauty.

Day 11 Qui Nhon, Vietnam

Quy Nhon in Vietnam is entered through a gracious, sweeping bay and is a city that maintains its charm and natural beauty despite being densely populated, with 300,000 people living there. Quy Nhon is the capital of Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam, and although the city was officially founded in the late 18th century, its history dates back to the 11th century when it was central to Champa culture. The Hinduism and cultural traditions from Quy Nhon’s Champa roots still permeates the arts and culture of this city today.

Day 12 Nha Trang, Vietnam

Home to some of Vietnam’s best beaches and dive sites, the coastal city of Nha Trang is a magnet for those seeking sunshine and underwater adventure. Backdropped by mountains, white sandy coves shelter lovely bays and distant islands. The capital of Khanh Hoa province, Nha Trang lacks the culture found in neighboring areas but still has a few temples and such to remind you that you’re in Vietnam. But don’t be surprised to find signs written in Russian—more than 10,000 Russians come here each month.

Day 13-15 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Romantically referred to by the French as the Pearl of the Orient, Ho Chi Minh City today is a super-charged city of sensory overload. Motorbikes zoom day and night along the wide boulevards, through the narrow back alleys and past vendors pushing handcarts hawking goods of all descriptions.

Day 16 At Sea

Cruising to Singapore.

Day 17 Singapore

The main island of Singapore is shaped like a flattened diamond, 42 km (26 miles) east to west and 23 km (14 miles) north to south. Near the northern peak is the causeway leading to West Malaysia—Kuala Lumpur is less than four hours away by car. It is at the southern foot where you will find most of the city-state’s action, with its gleaming office towers, working docks, and futuristic “supertrees,” which are solar-powered and serve as vertical gardens.

On arrival in Singapore, after you disembark the cruise ship you will be met at the port and transferred to the airport for your flight home to Ireland.
